Chad and Vayana Chernet

Chad and Vayana Chernet are the owners of Aunt Delores’ Childcare Center which has been around for more than 50 years. They come with new plans and ideas and are already planning growth for the center. Aunt Delores is known in the community for exceptional care, integrity and an outstanding business record which leads the center to primarily develop business by “word of mouth”. Chad and Vayana plan to continue the legacy left by the 1st and 2nd generation owners of Aunt Delores Childcare Center while moving the center forward.

Chad and Vayana Chernet are dedicated educators and their focus is on academic achievement through interactive experiences with teachers and peers. Chad received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a law degree (Juris Doctorate) from Nova Southeastern University. Chad has experience in education at every grade level from preschool to college. Chad taught high school English and Business in Bulgaria for several years, English as a second language in Orlando as well as working as an Adjunct Professor at Rollins College. Chad has also completed the Department of Children and Families’ 45-hour coursework and is CPR/First Aid certified. Chad also maintains a Director’s credential from the Department of Children and Families.

Vayana brings extensive experience with management, operations and youth nutrition. Vayana has worked within the Seminole County school district overseeing the food preparation and delivery to thousands of elementary, middle school and high school students. Vayana understands the vital importance that proper and complete nutrition play in the development of children.

Chad and Vayana Chernet are committed to working with Aunt Delores’ Childcare Center to continue providing quality care, education, and service consistent with the standards maintained at the center.
